her masters degree in theatre directing and learned much about the Canadian
theatre scene. She is an instructor at Mount Royal College and a C.A.P.E.S.
artist working in elementary schools in Calgary. She was the founding
director of education at the Epcor Centre for the Performing Arts and

and artists in the learning through the arts program in Calgary. Maria
is a personal and professional development facilitator who runs personal
development workshops throughout Alberta and British Columbia. Maria
has lectured in both Canada and the States.
Maria’s fascination with the process of human growth and the need
to express one’s story lead her to create MK Facilitations. Through
the work of MK Facilitations, Maria has combined her passion for theatre
and storytelling with her passion for human growth and psychology to
come up with a gentle and powerful pathway of sharing and learning from
the stories of our life.
